Each InterPoker Frequent Player Point (FPP) is earned for every €0.25 in rake paid in either a cash game or tournaments. Players have the option to exchange their FPPs for tournament entries or items from their store, but these will be deducted from your InterPoker rakeback each month. At the end of the month, rakeback player's FPPs will be cleared from accounts.

The International Poker Network heavily favors 6-max and 5-max NLHE cash at the €1/€2 level and below. During peak times several full ring NLHE tables at the €0.50/€1.00 level and below run. Regulars will likely have to stagger different stakes if you plan on playing during non peak hours to keep volume up. The following is a break down of the International Poker Network's cash games during peak hours:



The International Poker Network has significant SNG traffic at the €10 level and below with the majority being 5-max while some 10-man tournaments run. Very few SNGs will run above the €15 level. MTTs have smaller field sizes with several guarantees below the €4000 level. If you're looking for side games, the International Poker Network has additional traffic for Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit 5 Card Draw.

All players who sign up using Grinderschool's download link will qualify for Guaranteed 30% InterPoker Rakeback plus a 200% Deposit Bonus up to €1000. You must rake over €100 to receive InterPoker rakeback in any month so low rake earners are not recommended to sign up at InterPoker. The bonus is released in €5 increments every €35 in rake (150 FPPs) for an additional 14.3% rewards.

The bonus will not be deducted from your rakeback and will expire after 60 days. To clear the entire InterPoker deposit bonus in 60 days a player will have to earn 30,000 VIP Points or €7500 in rake. It is highly unlikely anyone but the highest rake earners will clear this entire bonus on a deposit, so players are encouraged to only deposit the amount necessary to play at a given level.

InterPoker Rake Calculation

InterPoker uses a “weighted contributed” rake calculation, which means that the amount of rake credited depends on the amount of money a player puts into a pot. “Weighted contributed” is often called “paid rake,” and means you don’t collect any points if you don’t see a flop, and rake is credited depending on how much you put in.

Some consider it to be the most fair method for calculating points, because the “weighted” means that the players who put the most money into the pot receives the most credit toward points. For instance, if player A puts $10 into a pot, and players B and C $20, $2.50 would be raked out of the $50 pot, and player A would only be credited 20% of that rake ($.50) and players B and C 40% each ($1).

Unfortunately for some, this means your playing style affects your rewards. Tight players, who don’t enter a lot of pots and therefore do not pay as much rake, have a more difficult time amassing points. For every €0.25 in rake, the players who contributed to that pot earn one point. Likewise, one point is earned per €0.25 in tournament fees paid.

Players at InterPoker have the ability to earn VIP Rewards instead of the Guaranteed 30% Rakeback. Each VIP level includes additional freeroll tournaments and rake races that increase as you earn more rake as well as a cash bonus. Grinderschool recommends signing up for rakeback and to void their VIP Lounge Cash Bonus Rewards; InterPoker rakeback players will still be able to access the VIP Level Freerolls and Rake Races but not to the reload bonuses.

After the deposit bonus, low rake earners should not play at InterPoker because they wont earn rakeback if they rake less than €100 in a given month. This rake requirement takes away the benefit from having a rakeback account. While the deposit bonus is generous, the vast majority of players will not clear even half of the bonus in the 60 day period.

Players looking to receive guaranteed rakeback with traffic during peak times will find InterPoker a qualified alternative to other VIP Reward sites. The biggest downfall is the minimum €100 rake requirement for rakeback but for any player above the €20nl level this shouldn't be very difficult to overcome.

Grinderschool recommends InterPoker for moderate rake earners who wouldn't earn high rewards on the larger VIP Reward poker rooms. Players should expect to find above average tables because of the low amount of regulars. While you will find only a few regulars on the site, many high rake earners would be better off choosing higher rewards at other VIP reward poker rooms.
